Ok got me ARO pack through and in the "common offences" bit there is an offence I dont understand lol, its "beating Simon Walker"? Can understand the other common offences but whats this Simon Walker offence all about then?
Off to watch the racing at Stratford next month, bunch of us going, cant wait, last time I went was about 19 - 20 odd years ago. Does not seem to be as many meets as there used to be back then.

Lol....Gix the information to which you refer was written by another jockey and the "beating Simon Walker" comment was meant very much tongue in cheek and refers to a fellow jockey who for the past couple of years has won Champion Jockey for the season

Well I've never heard of it either....news to me, how odd I will investigate, what a strange thing to put in the ARO pack!
Gix - you'll have a great day at Stratford, nice track and should be a good meeting.

Hi Sundance, yes used to love going arab racing, used to work with them, been to Stratford before but I believe it has been revamped somewhat since my last visit 20ish years, used to be alot more meets 20 years ago tho, I see there are no meets at Lingfield, Goodwood, Towester, Southall, Lingfield, Aintree (I loved Aintree lol).
I shall get loads of pictures and next season will be trying to get to a few other meets, I love racing (arabs are so much nicer to watch), the addiction never dies out.... |
