talking of H&H, did anyone see the article that Tim Gredley has decided not to hold any more equestrian events at Towerlands after this year? He says the venue makes more from the conference centre and golf course than the horse events.
I posted about this last week I think as it was all over HHO - seems to be ambiguous as it is closing from October for improvements - some show organisers say they have booked for next year whilst others are saying they can't as no more equestrian events.... doesn't look good
It does say that the venue will be available for private hire for horse events, although the restaurant and main ring and collecting ring are to be knocked together to make one larger arena.

Its still open for 2011............its only improvements being made to the indoor arena, and about darn time if you ask me, it hasnt changed since I was a kid and that was a million years ago!!
