I am after any info that would identify who owned this Anglo in and around 1905 onwards, and where in the Country he ended up...and who with..please...if anyone can help.
Animation was purchased by Rev.D.B. Montefiore as a foal in 1905 and I would like to find out where he went from there.

He's s. Mootrub, d. Spree b.1899 TB.
Leaving the link.

From The New Book of the Horse by Charles Richardson published in 1911.

It may be added that the champion in the riding classes at Islington in 1910 was Mr Tresham Gilbey’s Animation, by Mootrub out of Spree, the last named a thoroughbred, by Blue Green, her dam Signorina by Specific, bred by Sir John Barker at the Grange Stud, Mootrub was an Arab so that here is a perfect specimen of what one takes to be almost a royal road to Polo Pony breeding –viz, the mating of small thoroughbred mares, which for choice have played polo, with the Arab sire. We may add that Animation is quite an exceptional pony, extraordinarily handy, with the most wonderful manners one ever saw in a show ring. She is strongly built and short backed, and had big limbs, with grand bone, the Islington judges, Messrs Buckmaster and R N Grenfell stated after they had given her the championship that although only a five year old she was then fit to play in first class polo.

her dam Signorina by Specific

This should read Signorina by Pacific.

I've checked with the GSB. The only one I've not found yet is Queen (late Queen of My Stud), I just need to find her original entry in the stud book.
Queen was a full sister to Star of Portici who also had a filly foal named Signorina (by St Simon) this Signorina was the dam of the Derby winnning filly Signorinetta.
They were both bred by Chev. Ginistrelli.
