I've just started using them, will let you know but I've heard great things and so far I'm impressed. Just in case it's my imagination I want to completely reserve judgement until the physio has been. She's due on 1st July and I'm not going to tell her I've started them and see if she notices a difference as she spots the smallest of things
I'm going to call the Scottish rep next week for a chat and get her advice too.
I have used a few of these the one i find very good is their Purify, i have a horse with an auto immune disease which means his body attacks his own red blood cells meaning he gets very bad anemia. The vets cant control it with steroids any longer and this is helps him everytime he has a relapse it boosts his immune system and flushes the liver of any toxins. Without this i doubt he'd be with us.
I have also used their v-calm, equi calm, listen and learn and harmony. Yes a bit of a supplement a holic but we have a few horses here so each are different. The v-calm is great but cant be used if competing under FEI and jockey club rules but people do use it for local level. I have used listen and learn for my dressage horse who just needs to keep his mind on the task. Harmony for my very in season mare who can get very temperamental. Equicalm for my jumping horse just to take the edge off him but not to dope him. Oh and i have used their equimmune which is also very good but worked so quickly they were pinging off the walls, as i had used Hilton herbs and although it worked took a bit longer so didnt realise it would work so quickly at the time.
Because New Zealand is so far ahead of us with their supplements these do work a lot quicker then any other liquid supplement on the market. I have been to a couple of his talks and its very informative.
That's what I'm using right now, Devil's Claw Flex and Flexy Limb. I feel there's a difference but I'd rather the physio checked her first as maybe I see/feel a difference because I want to
Sorry forgot the devils claw one I combined that with their old friend on my other halfs old TB she is retired but was looking so stiff and sore in the field that i decided to try it on her and must say it did revive her she was back dragging me here there and everywhere but she is retired so obviously couldnt see how she would have been under saddle. But she was so sore in the field we were contemplating pts but this gave her a new lease of life. Dont know if im allowed to ask but Fee is it Equus Health Flexy limb your using out of interest?
Will be starting on E-mmunity and Purify from today so nothing to report back yet. I like the list of ingredients, no fillers or sugary stuff included.
I too am a fan of stuff coming from New Zealand. A supplement called Lyprinol (derived from the green lipped mussel) saved me from having constant rhinitis in the winters. It's supposed to be for joints but is anti-inflammatory and just clears up my nose like nothing else. Mum found it in her health magazine and it's way better than any of the sprays the doctors have given me.
Having read about this product range (after reading this post!), I've just ordered Listen & Learn for Merlyn. His concentration is dreadful and on reading about this product, thought I'd give it a try. I'll let you know how I find it!!
