Where do you all buy your wormers from? I usually get mine from either the local feed place or occasionally the vet (not a cheap option!!).
I see various websites selling wormers and just wondered who does the best deal? I am looking for either Equimax or Eqvalan Duo and I need 3 tubes.

Another vote for Wormers Direct. Good choice of quality products, great prices, really helpful and friendly and very speedy delivery! |

I use Hyperdrug. Next day free delivery, and cheaper than Wormers Direct.

Try discount vet supplies for equest plus 575g(same as Equest Pramox)£8.61 and equimax 600g £11.00 - they aren't the quickest but they ARE cheaper than all of the above
They are also very cheap for dog & cat flea/wormers |

Haven't tried any of the ones mentioned, so I don't know if it's the cheapest, I use mile end equestrian and they nearly always deliver to me the next day for free and I find them very cheap! |

Found this post really interesting. Ours are ready for double-dose strongid-p for tapeworm so just compared some prices: wormers direct :4 syringes plus delivery £45.46 hyperdug: same order £35.16
What a saving, & I'm certain that our local feed merchant charges alot more than that! |

Great, many thanks guys. I knew I'd get good information on here! Mile End is definitely the cheapest from all the ones I've looked at. Only £11.80 for a tube of Equimax, where others are more. |

Hyperdrug or Nutrecare for me, but I tend to check a few websites first to see who is cheapest. But our local feed store isn't that much more expensive so if I forget to order online I do buy from there as well. |

Pets Megastore (Australia) have been buying mine from them for the past 3 years, Equest plus tape is £11.19 and the same as Equest Paramox, I ordered 7 2 weeks ago and they arrived in 3 days, if you spend over £55 then postage is free, if not I think it is about £3 |

I have just bought my Pramox wormers (shame) and after checking the ingredients to the Equest Plus Tape (that is far far cheaper than pramox) they are more or less the same...
I am just wondering tho if anyone can tell me why pramox says only suitable for foals over 6.5 months and the equest plus says over 3 months???
I take it the equest plus is just an overseas version of the pramox? and at £9 per tube compared to £15 per tube I will certainly be getting these next time seeing as I have 4 horses to do.... Tho please advise if I'm wrong???
Thanks, Adele x |

It's illegal to import drugs icluding wormers from abroad without a special licence. If customs checks them you could end up with a hefty fine. Unfortunately, it's not illegal in most countries to SUPPLY drugs to overseas customers, so the companies will happily take your order & payment. |
