I have the most gob smacking welsh section A mare, I wish to sell her but, now wait for it, she is 11.1hh but thinks she is 16.1hh she is so forward, jumps without stopping, she is so fast brave loves water great to load, you name it but im sure she isnt going to be any good as a Lead ~Rein pony!

Do little children do pony club and the Games im sure this would be right up her street, she just thinks she is an Arab and a very large one at that.

I am going to take some piccies tomorrow and advertise her on here, any thought of the best career for my Blissy

Many thanks in advance

Louisa

I have a 4 year old section a that i've had since she was a yearling. She's just fabulous at everything she does. Obviously at the moment she's had limited oppertunity to do stuff because of her age, but everything i ask her to do she does, and with such enthusiasm! In fact i even bred 2 little jockies to do stuff with her . I see her doing cross country, pony club games, carnivals (she's fearless!) fun rides, you name it. When the girls are too big for her i'll get her scurrying. You gotta love section a's. I'm sure yours would love games!

Mogwai, Thankyou for your reply, my daughter still has her section A gelding butternut, she has had him since she was 3 and now nearly 11 he has never put a foot wrong, but he likes the slower pace in life and the fooood oh gosh he loves that, but little blissy she is different, she likes the faster lane, I shall go along the PC route I just dont want to sell her to anybody I want the best for her and I just dont mix in those circles.

Thankyou again

A's are super little all rounders Make great driving ponies.
Ros, Mary is a little star!! Cheeky but kind - she can come live with mine anytime (and I don't "do" A's)

YES YES YES - there is some family out there praying for such a pony, just a matter of connecting the two. Really bold M&M workers are like hens teeth. We bred a pb 12 hh gorgeous mare - grey, huge eyes, moved like a show pony but she thrived on work, massive appetite for jumping.
We took her and a 16hh+ hunter to XC and SHE outjumped HIM!!! If anything was too big/wide, she simply jumped onto it and off the other side. She needed a bold kid - not because she was naughty, just because she was good. The perfect people eventually came along - master of hunt with 3 girls. She's now looking after the youngest out hunting, pc and workers.
So if you can find that superkeen (knowledgeable) PC / hunt / eventers with sprogs home, with siblings so she stays put, you know she will have a good life. Or, let someone have her to break to harness and reasess in another year?
Its hard with ponies - that's why we stopped breeding anything under 14.2hh.

Good luck -she sounds fab !
