Went into work this morning and the lady that i work for breeds minature shetlands and donkeys. One of the little minature shets came up to me so started to give her a scratch then hazel came over and asked if i wanted her, my first reaction no husband is going to kill me already having 8 and 2 foals on the way!so i replied how much and she said its a gift how could i say No, so now i have a new buckskin minature filly coming to join the herdas my mum said to me you should'nt look a gift horse in the mouthwill post some pics on thursday.
My dad used to moan and grumble about all the dogs we 'acquired' over the years (they all knew where to come!). Then when my mum died, he suddenly became as soft as muck with them and loves them to bits!
(not saying you'll have to die for him to come round, more that he is maybe barking rather than biting?)
awww doesn't sound too bad an acquisition though, low maintenance and they so lovely! could be worse, at least you weren't talked into a much bigger horse!!
Thanks guys im quite excited oh is slowly coming round,i do a lot of palamino shows and some of them have miniture classes so i will take her with me and my girls can show her
