Hi hun don't feel bad it was just one of those things unfortunately it happened to your gorgeous man see how it goes after the vet has been again/or has done what he needs to do, but if not then possibly get a second opinion from a different vet at your practice imo give baz a hug from me and i hope he feels better soon Pam x |

Oh dear! Don't feel bad, it's the nature of how horses heal - initially like mad, then treadwater. Paring back can work wonders so fingers crossed for tomorrow's visit |

Mrs Vlacq is bang on the mark, it's a case of 2 steps forward, and, if you are lucky, 1 step back!! Hang in there, you are doing all you can. Good luck!

Oh don't feel like a failure! I have had a run or really rubbish stuff happen with the horses (liver disease with my 3 year old, laminitis with my other 3 year old who has never been overweight or allowed to gorge, a succession of leg injuries with my yearling, never ending), and you do go through periods of wondering what on earth you've done to deserve it all! It's not your fault! Loads of love to bas, i hope he feels better soon. Ros x |

You all had me in tears when i read your lovely supportive messages, work was tough today but vet called to say he was fine, talk about relief and will return on Saturday to remove the bandage...and what a huge bandage it is!!
Vet has cut around the original site and removed some scar tissue to reduce lump, fingers crossed this time.
p.s note in the pic Baz is eating his tea with bute and antibiotics, this is a first and must be due to having major munchies after being sedated!!! |

Oh bless him, Dinner...bandaged leg or not!! I totally agree with Laura, sometimes things are going so well and then you get a set back, you mustn't feel bad it really is horses for you! Hoping that the vets visit yesterday puts him back on the right road!
He is looking really well in the picy, lovely shiny boy!

Baz looks great, I'm sure its because we care so much that we feel so bad when we think things are going wrong, but they're not with Baz. X |

Please don't feel like a failure, all it does is chip away at your self-esteem and stop you from sending out those precious healing rays your boy needs so much. I'm sure no one could be taking better care of him than you. Blessings to you and Baz. xxxx |
