I hadn`t done any showing with mine for years but managed to borrow a friend`s pickup & trailer in july & took my them to the South West Arab Show , although Jazzi is 11yrs old it was only the 3rd time she`d been in the ring under saddle & my daughter Abbie had only ridden her at a show once before & that was 3 yrs ago ! Hopefully we`ll be able do alot more next summer as i was browsing through E-bay this summer & by sheer luck found the Dodge 50 horse lorry that my X partner (Abbie`s dad ) had built by Huish Horseboxes 13 yrs ago , My Mum lent me the money & they delivered it down to me from Birmingham !
Here are some pics that my friend Paul Howland took of Abbie & Goldhaze Fantazia ( Jazzi ) !

This is my mum's absolute pride and joy!
Aatiqah (Azteq x Casablanca Bint Djammal) who was Reserve Novice Ridden Champion at Malvern this year with Joanne Woodward. We never dreamt that she would do so well as she was backed in February and is only four but she is such a kind, generous girl and really tries her heart out.
Tiqa is now home with us for the winter and I am taking her out to some dressage.

What a good idea! Its so miserable here lately - seeing all of these photos has really started to get me inspired again!
Here's some of mine... We had a dabble at endurance this year (and loved it!!)
Windsor Park ride (photo courtesy of Radfoto)
Firle Park (photo courtesy of Radfoto)
And although not really show or performance, Emma Maxwell took some photos of Agonia this summer... Hard to believe my hairy hippo looked like this only a few months ago...
More photos please, everyone!

Antsar Mohican (Sire: Strinesdale Matador Dam: Antsar Belinda) 148cms PBA with his new owner who sent me this photo by email in the Summer - lovely surprise. Having bred him and "done" the in hand including British Dressage Breeding Champs, I am just so proud that he is doing what he was bred for - a child's performance pony. I can't wait for the Eventing photos!

Vlacq Redwood Reflection at BDS Area 37, Erddig, 9/5/09. Red won all his four classes and took a Championship (Lady Whip!) and two Reserve Championships, with Laura Pyke doing the honours in the saddle for the Ride section of the Ride and Drive class.
Jim the Cob at BDS Area 37, Erddig, 10/5/09. Jim took a first, two seconds, a third and two Reserve Championships including the Novice Show Championship over the two days.
I posted Jim's story and my favourite Irish Cob quote in the 'BDS Erddig - Happy Memories' thread a couple of days ago so I won't repeat them here. |
