So glad all's going well for you Tabita. All the very best of luck with Mushi! You deserve it after such a long haul!

Thank you so much everyone
I still can't believe it's real, keep smiling to myself at odd times throughout the day, doing little skips here and there! Stood cuddling him at the gate in the field last night
He's lovely and I just can't wait to get onboard, but want to get to know him from the ground first - and we need the farrier anyway before I can start to ride so plenty of time for groundwork. He seems quite straight forward and picks up on things in normal quick arab manner. Luckily he's in the field close by the yard which means he's getting used to all sorts of things, including people riding in the school right next to his field - something he's obviously not seen a lot of as he was most ponderous about it last night in the fog!
Piccies, yes will try and get some done in the light today, hopefully the thick fog has disappeared. It will be piccies with rugs on though I'm afraid, he's a monkey about rolling and as he's out 24/7 he's now winter rugged. That reminds me, better go buy another rug |

He does look content, and I can really understand how you're feeling. Like a dream come true. Keep cuddling and enjoy every moment. |

Thank you all!!
Yes, it's a great location and I love the yard because of it. We have lots of other problems (politics is horrid, everything happens very slowly, trying to get fencing done or hay delivered is difficult even if the horses are starving) but I'm staying there because of the location, the hacking is fabulous and perfect for endurance training so I'm just putting up with the other stuff and trying my best to stay out of people's way. |
