well i was gonna take another horse up til she gave us a colic scare,so I decided to give her the day off and drag gizzy (coloured) out of the field lol. my sister was taking xsara(bay). the two of them went well we did some work stretching out and riding into the bit then some more collected work to get them a litle rounder and then some jumping xsara did simple jumping with 3 strides between the two jumps and gizzy worked up to a combiation of three with one stride between each fence. we cured her lazyness by carrying two schooling sticks gosh it was like riding a different horse she was so forward going and worked and i had it alot easier lol. well heres some pics hope you enjoy, instructor likes the both of them, think xsara should do small hunter and gizzy should go into jumping. They are out of the same dam but gizzys sire was sistonce(straight russian) and xsara's sire was rocians and gizzy is a 1y 9months older.
Lovely horses and they look so relaxed and happy. Well done. I just wish Sylvie would want to jump! She looks at them and goes - 'you want me to do WHAT?' lol

thanks funny thing is i wasn't into jumping i was soo nervous at the thought til i started teaching her and ros to jump and my sister was shocked when i popped gizzy over a meter start of this year with out queries, i did my first working hunter class and sport horse class which i never thought i would ever do and im wanting to cross country and event and its all gizzies boldness and honesty thats done it, Shes a dream horse and its even nicer that we bred her ourselfs our first homebred foal and we have acchieved soo much with her, though my biggest dream is qualifying for hoys which im sure she will achieve for me too.
Thanks lindsey xsara wasnt too sure what she was suppossed to be doing over the cross pole at first lol but with time she should hopefully be jumping as well as gizzy lol. Xsara was only just backed and put put out for the summer and has only been riding now for 3 weeks that was her first lesson and she went so well
