Gerri, Same here, I can take one maybe two, but am in Holland. The stallion is CMK with lots of Crabbet. Very nice boy I think from the picture. |

monique, i can offer stable and grazing short term, if you want to buy any of them, apart from the stallion. you'd just need to get transport.
i do hope they find good homes |

How sad that this lovely horse is ending up at an auction
I only hope that the owner sells them privately before they go to this auction.

Thanks for posting the photo Judith, as you can see he was a real baby he'd only been backed about 6 weeks, so hadn't completely found his balance. He always tried very hard, and was always very safe, he gave the judge a great if baby ride and she moved him up several places. We had him out on the roads lots and he never batted an eyelid. He really doesn't deserve to be sent off to a sale,

Hi Erica
Yes, he reminds me of a 'chestnut' version of my boy Khasim.
I'm glad to hear Bin is feeling better |

Oh, he is gorgeous. Such a shame that any horse ends up at a sale, but especially one as good as Auvation. I'd love to have a stallion with Ben Rabba lines |

I bet 'Emily Rose' the mare at the sale is gorgeous. My mare on my left hand picture is of very similar bloodlines. Lisa |

I am worrying about the stallion, as how many people at the sale are going to buy a stallion of 19 I really wish I were there at times like this, I would buy him and keep him at my friends till could transport him over, he is only a year older than my boy and the thought of my boy having to go through that would kill me, I really really do NOT want this boy to go to the meat man.....Please someone go there and buy him PLEASE, can anyone sto this from happening, at least the mares have a better chance I will be worrying all night now until someone posts on here what has happened, I don't know anyone in Wales |

A quick update, I've tried to contact the original owner tonight as I'm pretty sure he doesn't know he's entered, Auvation was kept by his wife, unfortnately the number I have is invalid, so no luck there.
Lisa has mailed me to say she will help in whatever way she can, including gelding, teeth etc, likewise I will do whatever I can but we are more limited now by Ols multiple schlerosis.
If anyome is going tomorrow, his pet name is Vache, I'm sure he'll respond, I would go myself to see if he sells, but have to work, I loathe the place and have only been there twice in my life though its only 20 miles away, its no place for any horse let alone an arab.
I am concerned about the mares as well, but at least they have age and no problems being kept with other horses on their side

I did not sleep at all well last night, get tossing and turning, trying to think of a way to get to this sale, how stupid because in reality I can't, my mother and sister is coming on Monday, I am building the nightmare for the stallion up in my mind, please god thats all it is please someone go, I too think about the palomino mare that disappeared but convinced she was bought by someone and the dealer was bidding on their behalf, I may be wrong, but I know that this boy being a stallion and at his age there is only one person at a sale that will bid for him and its making me feel sick with panic, I know I am over dramatic and neurotic but I also know somehow I will get the money to save him but cannot sort anything out overnight, the amount of times I have bought from sales like this, and within six months with treatment love and care, have rehomed these horses in fab homes to peole who have loved them as their pets and not commodities, and I am not ponting fingers here but this lad needs to be homed where he can get a little love and attention and live a natural life after all, he has given someone foals and an income surely he does not deserve to end up this way?? |

Gerri/Lila and anybody else I have just spoken to a very nice and helpful man at Evans (they run the sale). They would not take a telephone bid for the horse because they don't know me (also I am 5 hours away in Surrey). If someone knows someone who is known at the sale then you could just be in with a chance.
Sorry I can't help any more, I am too far away and absolutely couldn't put up a stallion even temporarily.
On a grim note... he/they would need to go over £330 to be safe I think |

sadly no horse is safe if the dealers buy them they dont work off individual prices they work off the total amount of horses they buy at the sale if they will make £ total. They will loose some on some horses but make more on others.
Hope they get a private home! Well done for trying to contact one of the breeders x |
