We have a new resident at our house. 2 of the farm cats are feed in the shed, but just recently the cat bowls have been licked clean each morning. As the door is held ajar with only a small hole, we decided it must be a cat. Last night we caught the culprit red pawed, it is a small badger. Also he has decide the coal bunker makes a great den to sleep in.

Love badgers! I've a small hedgehog at the moment, more mouths to feed but I love nocturnal animals and their antics.

I could try and get a pic but he waits until it's nearly dark. He doesn't seem frightened of our dogs.

Lovely I've got badgers attacking my muck heap and turning it over for me but none stealing the yard cats' food (yet!).
