to get connected and dial up is really slow at the best of times, but it just would not let me connect, I hate computers!!!!!! I missed all your posts

I remember when I first got the computer I was on Dial Up
Spent ages and ages wacking the button to try and make it go faster!!!
Thank god for BT Broadband!!
Is France still not on anything like that Gerri or is it because you are out in the sticks that you cant have it?

when we 1st got it (im talking living with mum) it was on dial up so couldnt use it and the phone. o and i had to disconnect every 59 mins or pay lol how tecnolgy has improved |

I feel for you Gerri. After having dial up in France for so long it was such a relief to finally get broadband. Hang on in there girl! |

the people in the village can get broadband but apparently we are too far out and some days it is soo slow and won't connect and drops you off line when you have typed loads and then you lose it all I not at all surprised I am going nuts |

can you not get access via a mobile phone provider? surely that would be better then dial up, think all you need is a dongle plugged into pc usb? Rui should bein the know?
I hated dialup only good thing was i had time to make a brew in between pages loading LOL |

Well I am using my phone to reply and I don't like it as such a small screen but someone so kindly told me of a way to get connected so going to try that, thank you for all your replies, I got loads to tell you, but will wait till back on computer x x |

My sister, in France, lost all electrics and totally stuffed up computer three weeks ago due to a massive storm, only now back on line (no thanks to insurance!) Look forward to hearing your news. |
