Hi Janet, no wonder you're in a dither!!
Definately NO to the place where the lady has made enemies of the Farrier and Vet - she sounds totally inflexible.
Sounds like Roger's mum's field is the way to go, especially if he is building new stables. Living out this time of year is fine, and maybe if you need a stable in an emergency, you could pop him in Roger's in his back garden?
It sounds perfect if your friend Yvonne is only five minutes away; may be worth checking he doesn't mind her and her horse visiting occasionally so you can 'mess around' together.
Good Luck X |

The trails and tribulations of Kazbah Ellis eh!!! lol
My friend Yvonne who is 15 years older than me has known the 3 brothers all their lifes, and used to teach Andy and mark to ride, she used to run the WHitegate Pony Club and used to take them all trekking and camping for the pony club so I am sure he wouldnt mind Yvonne coming and helping me out, she was a very good friend of their mother.
Like people have said, its summer he will be sleeping out and if I need a stable there's one there infact theres 6 there!!!
It will need work doing on them and mucking out, he said it hasnt been touched in over 2 years, so Yvonne, Jill and my Mum and hubby and me are going to tackle it. Thanks again anyway.
Gosh, why cant people just be nice these days and live and let live.
Luckily like Yvonne said I have some REALLY good friends who are helping me out and a mention to Sal aswell who I am E Mailing probably driving her crazy but she wont mind and saying all the right things.
Oh to win the Lotto and all my prayers would be answered.
Janet
ps. Edited to say what a wonderful bunch of people on here again listening and helping me out yet again. Thanks very much it really helps xx |

Your new field sounds lovely with access to stable block. You could even take a friend with you for company. And how nice of you to offer to look after his moms two horses aswell at least they will have a horse person with them with there lami risk. Stable block will be lovely and at least you got people to help you x good luck |

This sounds better and better. And it sounds as if he will be closer to home than the one you were going to move to. It has been a worrying time for you but sounds as if it was worth it and you have got a good place to go to. |

Glad you got it sorted in the end. Sounds a much better solution and after a bit of work, things will be as they should be....

Well thats it. Done and dusted. Moving him next Saturday to his new estate 6 stables and 30 acres of land all to myself well the other two horses that are there aswell.
Roger says I can have the run of the place and do what I want when I want.
I am going back down at the weekend to sort the stable block out with hubby (he does come in use sometimes he's a joiner) then sort which field they are going in and hopefully life will be a lot more peaceful.
He is thinking of building a block of four stables away from the house and a barn and letting me sort out who comes on etc etc so hopefully everything will turn out ok in the end.
Thanks again.
I will post some piccies up before and after when I get round to it if I have time lol
