Thanks Pauline for sorting out my photo.
Joan, the pic is of Amira bint al Hawa now 4 years old. She is by Aazari out of a 98% crabbet mare called Fenhawk Desert Princess (Golden Cavalier/Myrosah). I've been busy raising a young family so this is the first year she will be shown. As I bred her I am of course almost bound to be biased but she is quite special. She has the striking Aazari body and colour, has fabulous movement and a wonderful temperament. We are currently backing her and she's loving it.

Kathleen, sorry to say that Joan is new to the arabian lines and will not know about PM'd you. I spoke with her today and all this forum is very new, perhaps a phone call just until Joan gets use to it! |

Yes Rizaari is on loan with Anne at Gadebrook Stud, she has had lovely colt foal for Anne by Sambist(more photo's on her website). She will come back once the foal is weaned to hopefully be a ridden mare for me as my mother has Melissa Rose to ride. Hope you like the picture will try to find some more of her as she is stunning and can move just like father.

She looks great and what a lovely foal
Lottie her dam was very lucky back in August 1998 Sue had been at a local show helping me show my Anglo mare and foal, She came back in the afternoon and lottie was waiting with the others by the gate, for some reason which was unlike her she put her whole though the 5 bar metal gate and lifted it up and off and she took off down the field with the gate still with her leg though, they got hold of her but she had taken the front of her cannon off from about a inch below her knee in a v-shape and it was laying on the floor so it was off to the vets in the lorry with leg bandaged up to hold the flap back in place. Xrays showed that the gate had taken the front of her cannon bone off as well as removing the skin so she was a realy lucky mare and healed realy well with only a small lump at the top |

Hi Bam Bam, thanks for filling me in on your mare. She must have been put in foal to Aazari when he was standing with Hughe and Michelle. I would love that photo of her you have put up here on AL would you be able to forward it to me?
I will be at the Wessex Group Show, would be nice to meet your both.
Hi Dilly, do you know I actually sorted the PM out for myself would you believe, thanks for thinking about it for me
Rizaari is looking fantastic. Ann has asked me to go and see her which I am hoping to do soon. Once my mare Sheba is feeling better as her foaling was not good this time, I will be paying Anne a visit. |

My mare is called Beau Rashella (Beau Zan ex Rashandy). She's half sister to a 100 mile endurance race winner and British endurance champion, another advanced endurance horse and a Champion and HOYS qualified horse - so plenty of proven performance in her bloodlines. And with Sambist as Dad hopefully the foal should be fab |

Thanks for info about your mare, sounds a very good endurance horse. I have just sold Aazekah to an endurance home as she has Ahmoun and Ganemede in her dam line, they are going to put her to Eaglescliffe, which should be interesting. I am also getting an endurance mare to Aazari this year so am keen to see how it all works out. |

Thanks rani - Shelley is a lovely mare and this will be her first purebred foal as she was used to produce welsh D crosses before I bought her last year. I do love Aazari and he was on my list of potential husbands for her, it was only the distance that put me off (I'm in Lancashire)and I didn't want to go down the AI route this year. It was lovely to see a daughter of his at Gadebrook - I was very impressed with her. I think he'll produce great endurance horses that also look fab.
Also, interestingly I was riding at an EGB comp last weekend with a young gelding by Eaglescliffe and I was very taken with him. He was very attractive to look at, nice typy head, great body and very quick. I think he'll make for a talented endurance prospect. |

Hi Loosefur, Sambist is a nice horse so I am sure you will get something really good. We do frozen semen so if in the future you would like to use him that may be an answer for you.
Sally, I know the mare you missed out on, full sister to Aazurra, I dont think there will be anymore fillies from that line as Dashan has now gone to a home with their own stallion. I owned Dashan for a number of years and all her foals were beautiful. Bey Sheba is also producing lovely fillies, I have a yearling and the foal just born is also a filly, seems to be a filly man. Three foals born this year are all fillies. |

Dashan had 4 foals by Aazari, 2 fillies and 2 colts. Aazurra is owned by Dilly and has just had a really beautiful Psytadel colt and the other filly Aazeeza has just be sold so I dont think there will be any available at the moment, never know in the future though. There was a very lovely half sister but she has gone to Kuwait. |
