Does anyone know anyone who lives/works on Jersey that is planning on travelling over to the UK soon in their horse box and would have space for a 15hh mare? Perhaps they're coming over for a show or dressage etc. Would obviously help with travel costs. Live in Surrey, but could meet on the mainland or off the M3 to transfer. Feel free to call me (Su) on 07789 900555. Thanks.

When we were thinking of moving to Jersey I looked at the Jersey Riding Club website, you could also try Skye Horse Transport, fabulous transporters and very reasonable. Philip is superb with the horses.

I second that Mandy, I used him on your recommendation to take my 3 yo filly to Leicester for show training earlier in the year and he was excellent.

Did you get the horse that "willow" was advertising. I remember her posts about her horses and all the traumas she had; it would be great if she has found a nice home for her mare (was it Chilo?).

Hi Barbara
I hope so, just making possible plans and putting the feelers out. I'm flying to Jersey this Friday. Haven't seen any posts as I've only just joined the forum. Chlio is the sister of my friend Caroline's mare. We used to be stabled together and she's now around the corner from my field! I've heard great stuff about Chlio including from Harwood. |

Good luck, hope it works out for you and Chlio. Willow (can't remember her real name) worked so hard against all the odds to keep her horses.

Think you'll find it's Willow (Cate) who bought Chlio from Harwood and took her over to Jersey |
Hampshire. |

Sorry to hear about Rimmy, how tragic. Yes, in Chobham but now rent a field with a friend. How are things with you? |

Hi All
Well! I'm delighted to report that Chlio was absolutely gorgeous, I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her and ... she's coming over to Surrey next Sunday!!!!!!!!!! SOOOOOOO excited! What a lovely girl she is. I'm very excited at the prospect of us getting to know each other. I hope she will enjoy doing Endurance with me next year. This year I just want to take it easy with her and bring her on slowly. It was also a delight to meet Cate Hamilton and her husband John who provided the most amazing hospitality. Philip Hirst is booked to pick up my new best friend! Thanks to you all for your kind words and support ~ I'll keep you posted!
