Hi All, Congratulations to Rachel & Selasphorus, Well Done on your 100mile ride... Seb got stronger and stronger as the day and distance went on. Eating and drinking the whole day through.The 160k Elivator started at 6am and finished for Rachel & Seb and Lesley & Firebird at 10.25pm..in the dark, they were the last two riders out on course for Saturday. It was magical and they deserved the reception they got when they came over the line, the folks at the finish cheered them in. Floodlights were brought in for the vetting area... Alan was there to. Congratulations to you & Seb from his half brother & sister Symphytum & Sophora. (Dhruv x Sakuntala)What a brood mare Sakuntala has been with Salsola & Seb in endurance. I'll tell Phy that while he was strutting his stuff in the show ring at HoCoN Seb was doing REAL WORK covering the miles.I think that another Sakuntala offspring (Salsifis)is about to start endurance. Her owner posts as White Bryony. Pleased to see that Bhautika is coming on well. I went to see her but she was too small for me. What a great mover.
Great to make contact. Phy was 4th in HOYS Ridden stallions and 1st & Amateur Ridden Champion. He was really unnerved by the intermittant pop music coming from overhead speakers but managed to be brave most of the time!!! I've emailed you but I'm not good at this IT business so PM me if you don't get it.
