Hi Tiggy
I don't know if this is relevant but I have seen a couple of cremello geldings in my area (Bristol/Bath) who have the Legend prefix - Legend Blue Dragon and Legend Blue Phantom. I am told they are brothers and were bred locally. They both look nearly identical so probably are full brothers? I know both of their current owners but I'm pretty sure neither of them know anything about pedigrees!

Legend stud is at Sherston in Wiltshire - They have been breeding Palomino's and cremello's for over 40 years I think. They still advertise one of their Palomino Stallions on the British Palomino Society Website. I have a lovely Palomino filly by one of their cremello stallions Legend Ghost Moon - and they have Roundhills Moon God (cremello)- and Legend Moon Solitaire (palomino) You may find your boy on allbreedpedigree. |

My friend Kate King who is a member on here has just sold Legend Moon Princess.
If you send her a private message she will give you the new owners details, and will be able to supply you with hundreds of photographs.
Kate has retained a colt from Luci (Kate changed her name). Tobi (the colt) is a super looking boy.

Hi Sarah, yes thankyou ive got loads of Princess (Luci) and quite a few of Shulay, hes so handsome!!! im really trying to find some of his grandparents - Eldyr, Fayrelands Silverlace, Manakah and Silver Moonlight - cant find any anywhere!! hehe and thankyou, Astra looks so much like moonhaze except he looks a little less scared then moonhaze does in some of his pics (and far less muscly), hes very impressive though, trying the get Astra to live up to his brothers reputation is proving very hard indeed!! Thankyou everyone so much for all the links!!! |

Josie at Legend stud had Silver Moonlight - there is a picture of him on allbreeds - and I think she still has Manakeh - a bay mare who has bred her loads of palomino's and her last foal was a lovely dun filly. I am sure Josie would gladly give you any information about them.

Thats ok Tiggy , they were taken almost 15 yrs ago when you were very young ! He was a character he`d sniff your hand & then scream really loud & make you jump a mile high Fantasy does the exact same to any strange horse that dares to talk to her , im surprised my hearing isn`t impaired ! he he |

Theo i`d be bloody grumpy if i`d had all those kids....it has to be at least 12 or so .. You can spot one of her babies a mile away Now shes a grumpy granny ! Josie said she was teased when she was kept in a livery yard before she bought her ,she can jump though, she once cleared a 5 bar gate!

Haha that would be good, except....Astra looks more like a yellow, poo-rolled pony at the moment, i cant think of a worse type of horse to keep clean!!! very worth it when they are though ofcourse. Hes been off work for a while now cos hes got a horrible abscess poor thing, but never mind, hopefully ready for his next endurance!! His extended family look lovely theo, very stunning horses, honestly if i had the time and money id love to meet everyone related to Astra hehe |

He is gorgeous Tiggy & im really surprised that no one snapped him up when he was still an entire , Hazel Davis who bred Moonhaze Silver Spiral(Curley) rang me from Auckland 2 weeks ago & said she wishes she`d taken Curley over there along with her 2 mares as he is producing some really beautiful foals for Rainbow Arabians http://www.rainbow-arabians.dk/curliefoto.html
One of his offspring (hope you can read Danish ) http://www.gantrup-arabians.dk/gefion.html |

Moonhaze is so stunning, ive stolen many photos of him to go in astras family book! and i know, i wish astra was still entire, the lady who had him from a colt intended to keep him as a stallion but apparantly he was far too 'hot to handle' as a youngster so she had him cut i dont think she had the time or patience but even now he can be alot to get on with at times, i think my parents wish he was entire though to make some money out of him hehe! all the legend and shulay horses i have seen have all been stunning, we're very lucky to have them i think! p.s. i love moonhazes' nickname!! |

Hi Tiggy , There are lots of people out there who "can`t handle " their horses or ruin a good one ...Janine who used to post on here bought a Legend mare (by Ghost Moon) who`d been from pillar to post & shes come good! Curley is his name Moonhaze ,Shulay & Legend are their prefix`s & Faberge is called Rabbit I love the pics of Astra at the beach that you put on face book

hehe rabbit!! thats very cute its very sad when people buy horses that they cant handle, my friend recently brought a 4 year old mare who was good as gold when she got her and now rears and spins as soon as she gets on her, luckily the manager of my stables has taken her on now and shes a very happy girly! That was the first time ever Astra had been to a beach and he was so good! we had so much fun cantering along bareback.... not a romantic idea at all.... hehe, hopefully going to take him back soon and go swimming because he really seemed to enjoy it once he'd jumped half a mile the first few times the waves broke! |
