Thanks Jude, one of these days I just might manage to get it right myself, but I'll master it yet!
Gwinnie is 5 years in the photos and has the typical Russian movement. She is in foal for next year. |

This has got to be one of my favourite threads, along with the Tail Line breeding
Just noticed in the picture of Veteran, how short is that judge. Go on, now tell me it is all about perspective.
We took our little star (BS Fharida) to her first Arab show on Sunday and she did so well for herself, a little sweetie We introduced her at the start of this thread, as our little cheat (she's Russian/Polish, or Polish/Russian) and on both sides of her breeding can be traced back to Negatiw (so now I am really confused, ah, but happy )
Here she is with Alethea, coming first and no use of a whip, how good is that?
Not as well known as many others on this thread, but who knows, one day... (the dream of all owners of Russians must be to have another Drug, Menes, Aswan, Balaton, Kubi, Bengali, Ronaldo, Piligrim, Palubnik, Balenina, the list, like me, goes on and on)

Dear Mistere,
It has to be perspective, because Veteran is only just 1m50, I put it down to the BIG impression that all Russian arabians seem to leave you with. Sadly Veteran has a very large tumur and we are not sure how long he will be with us. Yesterday the Vet advised us not to operate, so we just have to wait and see, hopefully we will be able to choose the right moment, but knowing the happy go lucky attitude that he has its going to be very hard.

Dear Juliem,
so sorry to hear about Veteran's bad health :-(
Do I understand right that you own him? If so, do you have some personal pictures of him to share with us? |

Dear LoLoXLC,
I am afraid to say that I was crowned the worlds worst photographer quite recently. Thank goodness when people see the horses in the flesh they are surprised. I think that I will probably get a professional to come and capture the best moments before its to late, because he has realy produced some wonderfull daughters for us. However should a miracle happen and they sometimes do, I will certainly try, and I say try, to post the results.(I will probably need another miracle to do that). He doesnt realy look like the first photo published. his body and legs look awful, yet in reality his body and legs cant be faulted even today at 25 years old, every morning when I go to feed him I always find myself looking at his legs because they are so good.

Interesting remarks conerning his looks. I have other pics of him and they pretty much look like the first one I posed here. But I rather believe the people who saw a horse than pictures. Pictures can be deceiving.
I wish you and Veteran all the best. |

Dear Julie,
I'm a admirer of Veteran quite some time, and some friends of me have a Veteran daughter. I would love to see Veteran in the flesh. Is there any chance that we could visit? Our is his health not good enough for this? I most definitely would understand... anyway...I wish him all the best... |
