Not straight but with 50% they still have some of the great Russian attributes Unfortunately I don't have any super moving or up to date pics, takes me all my time to get a good shot when they're standing still Llite Milagro by Marcipan (RU) ex Bakeeta as a yearling & I managed to chop her ears off on this one !
Llite Baroud Ibn Gomel aka Boudie as a foal by Gomel(RU) ex Bakeeta

Those of us who own RUSSIAN Arabian horses know the wonderful feelings they give us with their love and personality - no thread about Russians would be complete without mentioning certain horses that bring tears to our eyes and a lump to our throat. So apologies Sal but I want to mention MR MOVER & SHAKER - oh and that's not Rod
Oh and you want confirmation of the above - just look at the faces on the spectators behind |

Just to prove these boys are not one offs Here's another super MOVER & SHAKER - can you imagine a show ring with NARIM and VODI - trouble is you'd need a crew of handlers to do the honours - yeah bring it on
NARIM RASB (Moment x Nejnaia)
I remember seeing Narim at - think it was Ascot - shown by a lady, she kept him towards the back of the ring - very unassuming - but BOY when he moved - everyones mouth just dropped open Think that was the beginning of the Russian love affair

Judith, I remember Narim ducking out of his bridle in his class at Malvern, he just stood and grazed, bless him. How many stallions would do that with a dozen or more other stallions around????
What a boy!!!

You are so right being entrusted with Derjava is like having a royal guest. She is 23 this year and she has some stiffness in her hock but she is simply wonderful. Derjava was in foal to Kubinec three years ago but due to a mistake at the vets the foal was lost and it took twomore years to get her back in foal. I was so disappointed as I had so wanted a Kubinec foal (preferably a daughter of course). Derjava is not the prettiest horse but she has a quality that appeals to everyone that meets her
Mirabella is very beautiful but does not like people unless she is in foal or with a foal at foot.
Derjava's daughter needs some time to mature, she had a bad start because she was tubed by the vet and we think her soft palate sustained small small damage but she is Aswan on both sides so she will be kept.
I would love to see your photos.
