Thank you magicdream for your comments on our pics There is NOTHING boring about Russian Arabian horses
Lauren the first grey is one of my many P's, Pabichka by Pobeditel (Balaton x Pantomima) out of Perspektiva (Piligrim (SU) x Polinezia).
Pobeditel is the chestnut full brother of Plumbum Pobeditel is now back at Tersk as Chief Sire after standing at Kossack Stud for a few years.
Perspektiva is half sister to Fee's Polianka - such a small world
The rug is fine - haven't decided who the lucky recipiant will be
Here's another very special Russian lady |

They all look super - might they be out this year?
Just out of interest, do you know how many Russians have been imported from Tersk (via Kossack?) to the UK? |

Lovely horses Jude Where is Perspektiva? Here is her big sis, my Straight Russian girl. Do you think there is a resemblance between them? This pic is a few years old now, in fact, it was in her advert on here and I actually fell in love with her right there and then with that pic!
Sorry I don't have a lovely showing or arena/field one to show her 'big' trot, but here's one of her moving, doing what she likes best... endurance...hopefully I'll get some new up to date pics in 08 in the show ring and at endurance rides...

This is an interesting thread so I thought I would let you know that my lovely russian mare G.Forgetmenot is by Top ex FortheMoment (Moment) and is also expecting a foal by H Tobago in June. I have also bred one of my Crabbet mares to G. Navaroj (Vodolej/Nikarta) and the outcome was a beautiful bay filly known as Marbon Medina. It gives me great pleasure to see these two mares floating about my paddocks showing off just for the fun of it. My Crabbet boys try hard but the two mares knock spots off them for movement. |

Di any pics of your girls? I really look foward to seeing your Russian girl's Tobago foal. If I don't choose the straight russian route then H Tobago is a likely husband for Po

Anfi -
One of my mares is related to yours - Siraj is by Deepak (Banat/Durr El Zaman) out of Faery Ring (Silver Scenario/Faery Snow )- full sister to the lovely Faery Rose.
She doesn't have any Russian breeding- but boy can she move !
Jingo - your horses are stunning ! |

Fee, very difficult to see if there is a family resemblance - Perspektiva and her other half sister Pritcha are light grey, altho Pritcha is now so fleabitten she's turning chestnut I do hope you manage to find a lovely Russian stallion for your girl
Anfi you are just too kind but you've met the gang first hand
The very special Pritcha by Aromat
Perspektiva
complete with poo spots
Her daughter Perebejka by Balaton

Hiya Jude,
Pritcha is special for sure I keep hoping beyond hope that Po will go fleabitten, but it's just not happening that fast
Well, don't know about a resemblance but Perspektiva has a lovely, kind face, like Po. And her daughter! Lovely girl...what a gorgeous colour and contrasting white tail.
For sure, staying with straight russian is so tempting, especially when we start talking about them and posting pics!

Lovely photos Fee What a beautiful backdrop to the second photo!
I know what you mean, I saw Agonia at the Open Day (and instantly knew) but she was advertised on here and it was seeing this photo that my boyfriend made his mind up that I should buy her!

and then last year

I have been away for a few days and have only just seen this thread. I would just like to thank people for their lovely comments about Plum. He is my horse of a lifetime and was the result of a two year search to find him. I knew as soon as I saw the photo I wanted him and set about achieving that! Last year he didnt do a lot of competing except some affiliated dressage (and just one ridden show - won the midnight gold open stallions ridden) as he is maturing and growing into himself. At only 5 years old and having had a successful first year Novice season there was/is no rush. I hope he will come back out in-hand at some point but I am waiting until he is the right colour and matured. I have a trainer who is carefully assessing when the time is right!! I have to say he has movement to die for and I go all goosebumps when I watch him. I would love everyone to see him move - hence why I would like him to go in-hand again. For those that don't know about his name Plumbum is latin for Lead and obviously when he was born he was very dark grey - as lead! At home he is just known as Plum! He has also started a bit of jumping and loves that and in due course I might consider NASTA performance grading. Ultimately I would like him to go through the dressage grades and lead the way for purebreds but who knows time will tell and we take one day at a time! |

Our russians are wonderful, they really get under your skin. We have Mirabella (Balaton x Malinka), Derjava (Aswan x Polinezia) who is in foal to Narim, and Derjava's daughter by Artist who we hope will get in foal to Kubinec and finally Derjava's son by Kais.
Fee, we wanted to buy Polianka when she was still with Delyth but we had not room at the time. I would have covered her either with Kubinec or Artist both stallions having more than proved their worth as sires.
