You're now "hanging up your pen" and I for one very much appreciate the huge effort that has gone into your providing us with all of this information whilst holding down a very demanding job with long hours. It just won't be the same without your indepth knowledge of Racing bloodlines and the Racing scene in general and the person that picks up your mantle....if any....will have a lot to live up to in my eyes.
Enjoy some time to yourself without the deadlines and I look forward to seeing you next year in your other role as owner/breeder
Yes I am looking forward to seeing your horses on the track this year, and I am looking forward to enjoying the racing and watching my homebreds running and not worrying about taking notes or staying up till midnight completing reviews. It has become a chore in recent years, and I think after ten years it will be good for the sport to have a fresh approach.
Linda - thanks for your kind comments, its nice to know that some people have appreciated my efforts, especially when its quite clear others have not!
