Just been on SE.com and a new posting says Mike Ashmore has been killed in a car crash. I am HOPING that this is not true.....and he is safe and well somewhere.....PLEASE.....

IT'S NOT TRUE - Silverdale have just spoken with him. Thank God!!!!
Janet on SE.com needs to get her facts right (if she's genuine) or she's a hoaxer who is SICK!!!!!

You are absolutely right, there are some 'sick' people in the world. Jealousy seems to prevail - I am glad that Mike is alive and well.

I Just heard, and come on net. I really hope this is a hoax. but what a sick thing to do. he has alot of friends outthere and family. Well it turned my stomach. I hope he is well.

It is not our Mike Ashmore, i sent him tx and he is ok.
but what a sick thing to put on the nett, and what sick people out there. I for one am glad he is well.

I emailed the web-master at SE.com as soon as Mike's well-being was confirmed and asked them to look into it and it soon disappeared from the site. Haven't heard anymore from the site. Since "Janet" hasn't responded it will have to be assumed that "she" (?) did not make a genuine mistake but was out to wind people up (succeeded in that I'm afraid...)- must admit that after my initial shock I looked more carefully and saw "unregistered" so that should have made me more aware of what was maybe going on...

Mike's just phoned to thank me for acting on the original email quickly - he's had phone calls from all over - he'll be even bigger headed now he thinks he has FRIENDS!!!! Only joking just so relieved he's OK!

It is good news all is well, but it is a shame that they cannot be traced. I cant believe that someone could be so sick as to say that on net. If someone has a problem with him then why not have the bottle to sort it out with him not to cause upset on the website when he is so well respected. I hope he/she gets what they deserve.

I telephone MIke last night , hes alive and well and somewhat bemused by all the attention.Norty lad, he knew about it at 7.30am yesterday -could have put our minds at ease.I agree with Nick, Mike is good company, always a story ........What a vicious thing for soemone to do Its back fired anyway.
