I'm trying to trace pedigree of mare I have on loan. She is out of Kalmea who is by Spearmint out of Kajari. Does anybody have any info on Kajari (possibly Maxwell breeding)

Its from the database which I subscribe too.
I cant scan them because I havnt one.

| Hi Pat - is it the Arabian Horse datasource that you subscribe to as if it is, you should have a little icon on the toolbar that is is a 'W' for Word. This opens the pedigree in Microsoft Word and you can edit and then save as a word document to your computer - works for me!! |

Pat - i have tried it and i dont get a "W" tool, - but i can print them to a PDF file.
Mazey - if you post your email add, (or put it on your profile) - then one of us will send it you. - we cant send attachments via the auto email on here (when it works!)

| Hi - just sent you an email with the pedigree print attached. Kajari is by Maleik El Kheil (by El Shaklan) out of Kazminda (by Indruss) and she was bred by the Maxwells born 1985. As far as I can tell, Kajari only ever had one foal. |

Hi
Kajari was bred by my parents. She was a tall chestnut, more like her pure English dam Kazminda than her sire Maleik. She was a good mover too - we sold her as a yearling I think but I cannot remember who to, may have been a Mrs Logan....? I'm sure she won something somewhere at a County show as well.
Her sire Maleik was from the first El Shaklan foal crops. He was Supreme Male Champion at the British Nationals as a yearling, and Supreme at the Nations Cup in Stockholm at three,. He was also the first World Champion Colt in Paris and High Score of the Show. He was six times champion sire in the UK before his export to Abu Dhabi where he still resides.
Kazminda was by the Indian Magic son Indriss out of my mother's original mre Kazra. She had many good daughters inc, Khamala by El Shaklan who won her class at the British Nationals as a foal, a filly a mre and a veteran mare and who is dam of BNC's both in hand and under sadlle. She also had BNC Kahramana by Ghadames, and other big winners of their day, Kazmeyn, Kalilah, Soliman.
The Kazra famliy have produced many horses capable of winning in hand and under saddle and include horses such as Maleik el Kheil, Zircon Nazeer, Kazmierek and Ibn Charismma. They are usually of exceptionally nice kind temperaments.
