Hi,
Just wondered if anyone knows anything about this stallion and mare,
proud parents of my gelding Daatou who will be 17 this April, I haved owned him 16 years and it would be nice to know something of his background.

Wow Lynn,
thanks for putting up the progeny lists. It is interesting to see they are all bay with the exception of one black.
I know the whereabouts of Zareryn, Zarkela and Zambouka and now Daatou. Does anyone know of the whereabouts of the others and is Gaatou Fadl still alive?

When I went to view Datty (I bought him from Spout Fold Farm in Atherton), he was sharing his stable with another bay colt foal also by GF so it must of been either Fadyn or Zereryn, Mrs Marsh (breeder) told me the other colt had already been sold and was staying in the area. We are situated in the north-west nr Warrinton I wonder where in the country all his other offspring are.
I too was wondering if GF is still alive and what age he would be
Also does anyone have any photos of him

Been told to come onto this as I do own Zarkela (17 years things spring (Bay - of course!)She is the mare standing next to her foal in my signature. She's a very gutsy brave mare and an advanced endurance horse. I bred one foal by her, Zhelah - she is the bay with the wine glass blaze in my signature - very correct and has attitutde too.
Very kind and focused.
These "Z" mares seem to pick their owners rather than the other way around. Very positive - no nonsense horses.
I do have two pictures of Gaatou Fadl - not flattering I am afarid but if anyone wants them emailed please contact me on KarenIFullbrook@aol.com.
