Hi, does anyone know where the stallion monitor is???? I dont think that he is in the uk any more... Would anyone know if there is a lot of his babys about???? I've got a son of his and would like to know how many are in the uk....
Kerri here. Just had a look in an OLD Arabian guide and i see that in 1995, Mr and Mrs T Hudson from Cavewood Grange Arabians owned Monitor. I'll give you their number 01430 423905. In the meantime, i'll keep looking for any more info.
He was sold several years ago to the Middle East where he's had a succssful show career. He didn't leave many offspring in the UK. I remember him during the liberty class at UKIAHS one year - his music was the Christopher Columbus film theme music (the exact title escapes me...somthing like Conquest of Paradise?) - super movement...
Monitor went to Shamilah Arabians in France and on their dispersal went to Saudi Arabia. He belongs to one of the two Princes there and stands alongside BJ Thee Mustafa and Koronec.
If anyone is interested in Monitor offspring I know two mares who are for sale. At the moment they are being show i in Europe and are doing very well. Also very good prices. Just wondered with the interest.
