hello, i wondered if any of you from this area can help.
a friend of mine is moving to ripponden south of halifax soon and is looking for a good, hassle free d.i.y livery yard or farm within a 5-8 mile radius.
any recommendations will be much appreciated as she is unfamiliar with the area.

I live not far away from ripponden and i know of a livery yard in rishworth i think its quite posh i can find out the name if you wish.

hello
we don't have our own place - Nigel's is very Arab friendly but I wouldn't say it's posh!!
There's a little yard in Rishworth where we used to keep our horses called Godley Farm opposite Rishworth Mill appartments - may be the one you were talking about. It's a very nice little yard and my friend Rachel has her two arabs there (although she's bought her own place so will probably move soon).
I think it's still £15 per week DIY. If you email me I will give you Rachel's number to get the owners number. |

I got your details from the ARABIAN LINES stud book page . And your details are also on the ARABIAN LINE SALE page so I didn't think it would have been problem I was only trying to help some one out. And with you being in the same area you might of been able to help Helen out.

thanks for your help every one, i hope any problems caused in the course of answering this post are smoothed over now.
emancy- it would be great if you could mail me the number for the yard at rishworth mill.
my friends horse are'nt arabs, she has an ex race TB and a appoloosa/TB but both are well behaved.
