Does he rub or do you just want to keep pests off him?? If he's a real rubber - the Rambo SI Hoody is tough but pricey. The Riff Raff pest vest is next best and reasonable on Ebay. I love ours - just irdered another! For general fly rugs - I bought a Masta dead cheap and its quite LW so perfect if he's just out in the day - the surcingles came undone everytime horse rolled (so a few tears occurred) but I added those rubber donuts and lots better - the neck part lining in it is really soft and shiney so no rubs. And we also have a few of the shires ones which fit, stay on 24/7 without rubs/maintenance and good shape front for arabs

I have a amigo bug rug and would recommend it- it never moves or rubs only complaint is that it doesn't have a belly flap. I bought it brand new with tags from ebay for £15 so a bargain but generally I think they are around £35-40
