Do you know how she is bred. If you do I would think that you could get her tested provided the parents were. If they aren't or you don't know how she was bred I would think not but only guessing.

Thanks for your reply,

I havent a clue about parentage,

They can dna test from weatherbys, for 90 pound they check dna with there records then compare markig to every horse by that sire... if you get me, thought it may be the same with arabs.

Weatherby's deal with thoroughbreds. I assume you are talking about an Arab. Why don't you give the AHS a ring andf they should be able to tell you what is and isn't possible.

Have you tried putting the deatials on "tracing horses" here?

We had a colt fail his DNA and i was told it would be £50 for every sire that i had tested to find his true sire.

I think that you can test if you have an idea, but for someone to check the DNA off every horse sampled is not that easy.

That was an AHS DNA test we failed!!!

Thanks for your replys

i was giving weatherbys as an example as im in the process of doing that on with one of my mares its really easy with them you just send them a blood sample and the markings and £90.
Thought it might of been the same with all societies including the arabs.

I will try to call them thanks x
