I've just seen that one of the summer shows I want to go to has a 'Classic Head' class. Not having done alot of showing I don't really know what this is - but it sounds like it would be a lovely class for my 24 year old to enter.
However I wouldn't say she has a typical classic arab head...though I do think she has a classic crabbet/old english head (hope that that makes sense). As you can see below, she isn't very dished but I think that is an old English trait? So I thought I would post some pictures of her here, to see what people think:
I will probably enter her in it even if she has not got the typical classic head because it is nice for the old girl to have a day out + she has never been to an arab show so i think she may love it
She is loveley but if it were me i would enter her into the veteran mare class instead. Classic head classes are where extreme pops up think azteq (as a youngster). You will get a good fair level of competition in a veteran class where your mare will be judged on the whole of her.
Unfortunatly, although Miska looks amazing for her age she is slightly lame all the time as she has arthritus - hence why the classic head would be a good class for her (or not as the case may be )
