Hi i have just sold a phone on ebay (old hand set) the buyer paid stright away with pay pal but short £4.80 does any one know if pay pal would of taken out any money or fees as there is no indecation of any think removed by them it just seems that the buyer has not sent the full amount. i have emailed (buyer) them asking nicely if they could check it for me but no reply as yet what do you think? I still have the phone should i just let it go short or should i hold on
In the transaction details, you can see how much Paypal took. Just click the link in your paypal transactions list or click the appropriate link in the email you got from paypal, informing you of the payment.
Never sold anything on ebay, but my impression is that ebay charges you separately for their fees. Don't think they take money out of the user's payment. You're not even required to pay them from your Paypal account (you don't have to have one, actually).
Yes i have another £2.90 that is the listing of the phone, as you put the listing on it will give you a total on how much ebay are going to charge you so you can change it to less photo's or no highlights but i sold my phone for £127.00 so it was worth it
