Who on here has an arabian saddle and what do they think of it, have been offered one but not too sure, feels fine when riding in it although quite deep, but when it is taken off, there has been movement (whereby the coat has been ruffed up a little), this saddle was bought for the horse, also what would be a realistic price as I have no idea how much they go for new or second hand Many thanks

I have an Arabian Saddle and have found it to work very well. I was lucky in that I managed to buy mine second hand from my boy's previous owner. It was originally his and made to measure for him.
Herbie goes very well in it and I've had it checked over by a sadlle fitter as well.

Hi, I ride in Arabian Saddle Company Showring saddles and really like them I'd suspect this saddle does not fit your horse properly if the hair is "ruffled" underneath though? Perhaps it needs adjusting as the horse has changed shape? If the saddle is in good condition, I'd reckon it's worth around £500 2nd hand. |

Thanks Jill, Am going to try saddle again as the owner thinks the girth may have been a little loose, but if it needs re-flocking it may still be worth it |
