Vera, Do you mean to say you've never heard me banging on about mine!
I've had my MBT's for about 6 months, I've worn them just about every day since, infact I was just thinking I must get another pair before these bite the dust.
I got them because as you know I have a touch of knee trouble (nothing compared to yours) and strained my Achilles tendon a while ago, they are also supposed to tone up your legs and bum.
I love mine, but they don't suit everyone apparently. I got mine from ebay, they'd been worn once or twice, the seller couldn't get on with them so I got them for about half price.
They do look a little bit strange and take a few days to get used to. Chung Shi trainers are supposed to have a similar effect and look slightly more like conventional trainers, but I think I'll stick to MBTs as I know they suit me, they are the only shoes I can walk any distance in without my Achilles tendon playing up.

I've been told that they are good for posture as well as toning. As my posture is terrible I thought they might be worth looking at. Apparently if you don't stand properly you fall over!

Oh Yes, I forgot the posture thing, not sure that they've improved mine, it's still terrible.
I don't think you'd actually fall over, but they definitely catch you off balance now and then. The curved sole makes you rock backwards if you're not standing up properly, it also makes you roll your foot from heel to toe when walking.

Hi
My husband wears them every day. He has a prolapsed disc, knee trouble and an offset ankle. They relieve his pain. He swears by them...
