Took my two Section As 2yr old geldings yesterday to Parc Howard. My mum showed Talgarth Estreya (Bandit) and I showed Coastin Pop Socks (socks) who we rescued in december. He was a victim of the credit crunch :(
Bandit had 3rd in the 2/3 yr old Sec A class, 4th in the PUK Pollyanna qualifier (with me), 2nd in best condition, 1st in handsomest gelding and mum had 2nd in Adult handler
Socks had 5th in the 2/3yr old sec A class, 7th in best condition, 4th in handsomest gelding and I came 1st in adult handlers with him.
My boys behaved lovely. Bandits been before but it was Socks first ever show. He is such a different pony from the one we were given in December.
Also took a friends Shetland pony in the small M&M class. Nina is a 14yr old and it was her first ever show. She was brilliant when we were moving but when we were standing she thought it would be more fun to audition for the spanish riding school lol We came 5th though :)
I used to have a Sec A called Twynau Pollyanna but we rehomed her and lost touch with the new owners... interesting that there is a class named after her!
If he can't learn the way I teach; Can I teach the way he learns?
