Here are some pics of a rabbit that we've seen by the paddocks over the past few months...looks like a tame one to me! Maybe another dumped pet? What do you think?
Ahh poor thing, yes I think your probably right.......although I thought that the wild ones would attack it, or am I getting mixed up with something else? it looks cute though.
It hangs around with all the other ones! There was a black and white one too but not seen that one for a while. He/she was coming out of the field shelter the other day! Maybe thinks its a giant hutch!
It could be an escapee or originally came from a domestic rabbit. We have a couple of black wild rabbits in our fields. Funny enough they are more timid than the usual ones....
How odd is that - I saw one just like it on my way to the yard today! Nearby are some definite wild x tame rabbits, they are wild colour with white patches and have a more "tame" look to their heads if that makes sense? There were quite a few of them too so I assume a male tame one got dumped and settled in well!
Ooh my bunny's back! Karon how strange you have one the same!! Joto I thought it had quite long legs for a normal rabbitIt seemed very chilled tonight sitting munching grass!
We live near Fell Foot park, owned by the National Trust, it is over run with rabbits. My friend is the manager there. Last year a dutch rabbit appeared, looked like it had been dumped, now they have a large number of brown rabbits with a big white collar. Looks like he has been busy
