They get everywhere don't they? There I was admiring my new awning when i noticed it! Under the garden chair it popped up! I was facinated by the earth moving as it struggled to emerge almost as if it was spying on me! What can I do to get it to move on and leave me alone? I wouldn't hurt it for the world as I love all animals but its making a mess and I would hate my cat to catch it, any ideas?

well you could use a sound thingy bought from a farm shop, and they will move onto the next property, (MY KIND NEIGHBOURS use one and so they come onto my fields) but its doubtful there will be more than one, moles are very territorial and only come together to mate, so doubtful there is a whole nest of them, one mole can do an aweful lot of damage if left to its own devices, so they NEED moving on, good luck with that one |

I seem to recall someone saying that if you put one of those child's windmills (the ones you see in the seaside shops) in the ground, it deters moles.... |

Admin you are great . Score 1!
Seriously, moles are everywhere, and when one goes, two of its friends arrive. They are moles and they live in holes. They move that quickly. |
