Just phoned a show sec to mildly winge about the lack of classes for yougstock that isn't welsh, coloured or mountain and moorland....ie for an ARAB In hand Sports horse? Youngstock 14.2 and under/over not too much too ask? This is my one and only Local show so really wanted to go, think i have just been roped into steward!!! This might keep me happy and support my local show too... but would rather take the Thelwell Arab for a nice day out

You're not alone - if I want to go to a show that is literally 2 miles from home I'd have to take my Arabs in either hack breeding, hunter breeding or dye them and put them in the palomino classes! There's nothing I could take them in apart from the veteran class. And as Ash tried to flatten the judge when she was entered in the veterans a few years ago, I fear showing Ash again is a very bad idea
If there is a few of you, couldn't you get together adn ask the organizers to put on Arab Classes and each sponsor a class? its just an idea, but it used to annoy me years ago too.
