It's WILD out there today (1000ft up on Welsh hill)... blew 2 rugs clean off over heads of my 2yr old gelding and 3yr old filly. Gelding wasn't so bad - he had another layer on underneath but Kooks look rather bemused when I turned up mid afternoon to feed them to find her NAKED Blowing the dead wood off the trees, and lifting crud out of the guttering is the only plus point... I was getting used to the nice weather - bring it back!!!

Wow, it must have been extremely windy with you Laura to take rugs off horses backs! Tara's field is very sheltered so she was okay although my washing nearly ended up in next door's back garden, had to secure my duvet cover to the line with 5 pegs!!
The wind blew my fillies bucket containing her dinner right out from under her nose, mid chow. The look of sheer bemusement on her face was a picture. She's such a greedy guts, she won't take her face out of her bucket again in a hurry
I rode out for several hours today & OMG was it cold!!!! Was pleased I had put on my thermals & full winter riding togs.....brrrrr....on the open hill it was bloomin freezing
It was deceptive here in Bath, Tara's field is very sheltered so the sun was shining this afternoon and it felt nice and warm, but when I rode out it was freezing cold on the top of the valley with the wind blowing right at me. Made me wish I had my ear-warmers on Judith!!
