What do you wear at the yard? I am Dunlop wellies and joggi bottoms in the morning during week, and tend to wear skinny jeans at weekend,Have been looking at Millets for suitable summer gear.

Well now we are back at a yard i usually wear jods, chaps and boots with my Pink coat or jeans and jod boots - I also wear a t shirt and jumper too, nothing flash just what ever is not too dirty! Its not a v fashionable yard in terms of what people wear which im glad about However my little Isobel is dressed to kill!! Even at 2 she has 2 pairs of jods, 4 horsey jumpers including a gorgeous pink Joules one, 2 little coats Harry Hall and Regatta, pair of riding gloves and 2 riding hats She has unfortunately grown out of her little brown jodphur boots but my other little Mimi will be in them soon!!
When we had the farm i would regularly do everything in my pjs! I even went to meet my neighbours one night when their horse was ill and brought him into our stables, settled him in, checked him over and it wasn't until i was saying bye to their neice that had come to see him too that i realised i was in my pjs and thats why she was staring at me oddly We used to have loads of walkers come past and they must have thought i was mad, especially when i was heavily pregnant putting piles of hay out in the field with my Winnie Pooh nighty over my wellies |

Dinkidoo, that made me laugh! Isn't it typical, when you do your horses in your pyjamas you bump into everyone! |

Well i normally wear a pair of farm jeans (skinny/tight fit) or jods and my Joules pink coat with t-shirt and fleece/jumper with jod boots and chaps if riding or my DH mucker type boot things. I like to accessorise this look with mud, muck more mud and muck along with the stench of eau de horses bottom and find this fits in quite well in most horse establishments unless your one of those that has a groom, mucker outer and general dogs body for all those menial mucky jobs so that you can stand there looking like a model from the derby house catalogue . |

I mostly wear my lovely pull on Equetech jods and lovely new long boots if I'm riding, plus fitted top and waistcoat. Sounds good, and I am all colour coordinated in black and tan.
Except the rest of the time, I wear whatever I'm wearing, often call on the way to/from work, so it's work gear, which isn't normally posh (sewage works and farms, as opposed to office!)
I went to Tesco smelling of horse the other day, and I was so embarrassed I almost threw myself out. Whenever I stopped near someone else, I could smell it, and imagine what they were thinking!

My Pink Toggi Lady Wanderers, Joules Eventer Jacket, PJ bottoms mostly but jeans or comfy jods, Skinny jeans if I've come back from somewhere. Long socks from Toggi And any old t shirt, a polo or something if I'm not wearing a jumper. And hoodies and my cheap £4 Primark fleece as an extra layer.

I usually wear jods, t-shirt and either a rugby top/sweatshirt or fleece, I have 3 different coats of different lengths, thickness etc in the car along with 2 pairs of wellies (just in case) long riding boots if I am riding, but if I am just checking on them or not riding I go in jeans or jogging bottoms and trainers/walking boots, I was told off the other day by a friend of a friend who cannot abide girls (I am 38) being around horses in trainers! I was practising trotting out in hand believe me I need a pair of trainers LOL |

The worst thing i wore for riding was a mini skirt with stiletoe boots was my dinner break and i was keeping my tb fit for xc so only had a hour to tack up and hit the gallops !! It was a few years back now so i was slimmer and slightly more imature than i am now !! |

Winter is usually jeans/jods/joggers with ski trousers over them, and pink wellies (of course!) My big pink Joules Jacket meaning I look like a marshmallow! And pink Cowboy hat - COME RAIN OR SHINE LOL
Summer is generally shorts and vest tops for yard work, or when ragwort pulling/poo-picking, we often don bikini tops - much to the neighbour's amusement Jods to ride though - cooler than jeans.
Late night feeds (10.30) is usually a dressing gown jobby - though the mares got out of their barn at 3am one night last week, and I dashed out in just knickers and vest top - plus pink wellies to get them back in....sooooo glad they're at home LOL! |

I like to dress as smart as is practical - tend to wear: navy jods, boots & chaps, navy long sleeve top and have downgraded my coat to a blue gilet. though i was sporting a nice white hair dressing to all of that what with moulting ponies and all |
