| There were rumours quite a few years ago that he was coming to the British Nationals and may have shown one for someone ... would have had a job to hold my camera still!!!! ... sadly it didn't happen |

A woman I know was at Paris well over 10 yrs ago (not sure exact year sorry)
Anyway she had been watching the classes and later spotted a guy holding a very beautiful Arab, she went up to him and asked if it was his horse, he said that it was - she exlplained that she was trying to purchase good Arab racing stock, but had come to Paris to see the World Champs just out of interest. She is a bit of " a character" & continued chatting to this guy who apparently was very polite and pleased to discuss his horses with her, she asked him what did he do for a living
and he said "I'm an actor maam" - Venetia said "Oh really, what's you name?" He replied........... Patrick Swayze ..............................Venetia never did buy any racing stock - still reeling from shock even now probably

Over 10 years ago a little foster girl I was caring for had to have a very serious operation. He sent her a lovely signed photo which she kept by her bed. I think all of us Arabian lovers have a soft spot for him, beautiful outside and inside. |

He's a gorgeus and very talented man and obviously has extremely good taste in horses being a lover of the arabian. The first pictures i saw of him with a horse where with his stallion Tamman(sp), here are a couple of vids of him with his stallion that really show the love he and his wife have for their horses, it's such a shame he is so ill.

| Seen patrick swayze on the sky biography channel,shows him with his arabs and riding.Looks as good on a horse as he does off.I thnk he did a desert endurance ride several years ago.Years ago he was often in american arabian horse world magazines with tammen.Have a picture of him with tammen at the 1993 egyptian event.They both look gorgeous.All that and he can sing as well,remember she's out of my league.Im sure he has had a lot of support for his illness from his wife, but i bet his love for his arabs has also played a part. |

Hes been involved in them for a very long time, Michele Pfifer also has them.
Had to chuckle at ' what do you do?' bless her.
He has a new series on channel four 'The Beast' which is brill, before it began they showed a recent interview done with Barbara Walters, very moving, just so unfair such a nice man to be struck down with this awful disease. I do hope he conquers it or at least survives with it.  |
