Don't know if you could even call in riding!!!!!! but I have had my boy for 10 years and never so much sat on his back......... anyway I did and rode him round his paddock and he was as good as gold, after which my husband led him up the lane with all his tack on and it was a different story, he grew to about 15.2 and was leaping about everywhere with excitement, he is 18 years old now but hopefully we will take one step at a time and see how we get on or off as the case maybe

Soooo glad you enjoyed the pics he is such a god boy, he really is, wish I could find a little lightweight rider for him he would love it, I am nearly 10 stone but I did enjoy myself although could not get my feet in the stirrups as the stirrups on the saddle were too tiny!!! |

he is only 14 hands, but built like a little power house, bless him but he is so gentle and good natured, my Grand daughter used to lay down in the stable with him when she was only three years old |

He's stunning Gerri, surely you're not too heavy at 10 stone!! Brilliant weight carriers that they are. Good to see your OH is involved with your horses - is he a rider too? |

He is Sheikh Obeyd, what they rode into battle in the desert, he is a pure blood as they come, well thats what the late Walter Schminsky told me, and he was an authority on it, I'm afraid I am not brilliant when it comes to bloodlines, just know what I like and I adore him he is just an angel and yes my O/H does ride, when he is not working, bless him, that who I got the TB for him and my son Daniel, unfortunately she is totally wasted as both away most of the time |

A 14hh Arab can easily carry 10 stone so you are in no way too heavy - no need for a lighter rider.
A friends 15hh gelding easily carries 14 stone plus on endurance rides - sometimes 16 stone
Is your stallion GC Ali Baba? |

I saw him years back in the early 90's at Meranti. Does he still have the grey flecking on his neck? |
