anyone else done the grocery shopping on-line? I did mine for the 1st time last week as I'm sick of getting ripped off by our local supermarket. Fab. And sooooo easy. Last Wednesday,I was like a kid at Xmas waiting for my shopping to come - how sad is that? Had to laugh, when as a treat, I ordered 2 boxes of 2 chocolate eclairs... they didn't have them in, so our substitute was 2 boxes of 4 chocolate eclairs at the same price!! Blow the diet!!! Definitely doing it again next week, especially after going to our local supermarket & comparing a couple of prices.... i.e. kelloggs cornflakes 58p cheaper on-line, treacle 49 p cheaper on-line! And thats just 2 items!! Yes, I know I should support local, but not at them prices!!! Lisa

yay! Yes I do all the time, have done for about 5 years now and the sites are so much easier to use now, takes me about 15mins sitting in luxury to do a whole months shop! Love it and i just get to put it in my cupboards. I have found the choice of fruits and veggies to be chosen as I would myself, and the dates on fresh foods 99% of the time with good time to spare. I choose to shop this way as I live in a small village and do not drive a car, its also the last thing my OH wants to do on his days off too... |

Do you find yourself having to wait in for the shopping to arrive. Would like to shop online, but not i'm not very good at waiting in for things to arrive. Get very frustrated very easily |

The site I use (only used 1 up to now so don't know if there are all the same), you can select your delivery time. i.e. 1-3 pm |

Hi, I have been shopping on-line for nearly 18 months as have a back problem. Just sent my order last night in fact for a delivery Wednesday between 12-1 and if they deliver late they give you a £10 voucher(so I always hope they are late!) this has only happened 3 times and the most was 30 mins as held up by a horse drawn funeral carriage. I find it so easy, with all the appropriate bargains for your delivery day plus details of previous orders logged so you can check back for your usuals. Any items substituted or shorter shelf life are listed on a separate sheet and can be returned and refunded easily.I personally cant praise the service and prices enough. |

I like T*s home delivery - they seem very willing to take on comments/suggestions to improve their service - but why can't you buy their own brand soap online?!!; S*bury's I got very cross with cos only about one third of my order turned up (rest out of stock) so I had to go shopping anyway. I did ring them up and complain, saying they should have called me to say so much was missing (one doesn't mind a few item missing/substituted) and did I want to cancel/reschedule/whatever? At the very least they might have refunded my delivery charge, seeing as I have a twenty mile round trip to our S*bury's.

My mum has been doing her shopping online for about 2 months now (& shes 70 this year!)- its her that persuded me to have a go. We use A***. Yesterday, mum went to our local Co-**,as she'd run out of Horlicks. Get this - 60p cheaper if she'd got it on her A*** order!!!! Thats why we don't shop local. |

I use S too as find the 'hour slot' much better to plan around school pick ups and work e.t.c would probably get annoyed with a longer time slot, get impatient for my food to arrive! |
