What inventions do you think are awful , or just plain wrong?
I think those rubber loop ties people buy instead of using baling string and hoods [an accident waiting to happen IMO].
What dont you like?

For me it has to be all these `new fangled training aids`, which push, pull, force, into an unnatural outline, because owners no longer have the time to `ride` the horse into the correct `light on forehand, up into bridle, flexing from the poll`, (instead of half way down the neck with head into chest) UH hate them

The way current dressage test are judged,not really an invention but more an evolution. Most horses I saw at the Olymics wee over bent and behind the vertical including the those in the top three.

| the treacle licks in a tray for horses as a treat..and if you have a a grey like i did they bite an rub there own fur , then the brown treacle is all over them,,,,,,darn those greys LOL but dont the horses just love those tray licks ???? |

'Barefoot trimming' - use a flippin farrier people!!
Draw Reins / Harbridges/ etc etc etc - just ride properly
Over engineered / zero content feeds for fatties - do some reading, make your own and save a fortune
And no one has lessons any more - everyone has a TRAINER! grrr.....

Oh dear I do like the coloured tack, especially pink on blacks, and turquoise on greys, but I do do endurance riding so does that make me exempt from ridicule ?! and it is good quality and of course has to come in a colour you can buy matching half chaps in, as well as matching t shirt & waterproof jacket.
I Will be riding in purple this year ......
Also hate gadgets, just no need for them |
