Does anyone have a full list of the Jabask horses that went through the Brightwells sales from the Welsh Stud.

There should be a few posts on the forum regarding these horses.
Cant remember the full title of one but I think it was about a grey mare my memory isnt what it was .
I think Annette has a catologue, you could PM her or Rozyrider.

Yes, somebody's got one, they were all recorded on the last posting of the Jabask horses, although not all the horses sold that day have been accounted for, possible due to the following.
I know that several went off with a dealer and when I rang him a couple of weeks after the sale to see what he's got left, he told me the girls had had their pick and the rest went to the meat. Several were youngsters and not in the best of condition.I was there that day and saw them all sold...never kept my catalogue so I can't swear by the list.

Is there such a thing as a database showing the markings, I am looking around the 1992-1993 mark really Bay mare. I do remember the post from some time back but it does all get a little confusing and I couldnt really find what I was looking for.
I have spoken to Sian a number of times over the years but could never really get any straight asnwers from her at all. Until recenetly I wasnt sure that people were suspecting her of being Peggies daughter, I assumed she had met her while being out in Dubai |

You should do a search on the AL archives under 'history wanted on fleabitten grey pure bred arab' the registered arab's from this stud were all listed there. Might take a bit of searching as it was 26 pages long. Alternativeley, you could ask someone who had the stud books for those years to see whats registered there for a Jabask bred mare. Bridie & Bia did a lot of work on this.

You don't say in detail what information your after, the horses that went to Brightwells,some of these were traced to their new owners,these were only a few there, when the owner left the country she left approx 100 arabs in wales, and over the next months/years they were sold off, some without papers, some with, I can think of one very nice Jabask bay mare that was sold in LLanybydder sale and for just a couple of hundred pounds, with papers, that's an advaned endurance mare and in a good home.
Some of the girls from al worked very hard to try to track/trace breeding for several/lot of these horses.
I think you need to be a bit more specific to see if anyone has collected the information you require. some list were drawn up, but much was guess work, some of the horses sold through Beeston were have had confirmed breeding and by now some new owners will have their paperwork from the AHS, I think. Many of these horses are/were recorded on the all breeds, some by elimination.She does look of the same type as some of the other Jabask.
