Using you all as the 'Which' guide as always... I would like some nice long black leather riding boots (mine are about 30 years old and are brown on the insides, so it is TIME). The ones I really really want are the Sergio Grasso ones but they are £300 and I am both mean and poor. Can anyone recommend a make that is nearly as good but say half the price or do I just need to realise that £300 is the cost?
I have Regent, too. I don't know the model name but inside they say;
MADE IN ENGLAND!! Hurrrah!

They have the slightly higher cut at the side of the knee to look lovely and long. They are fab and I have always found them comfortable all day hunting and walking about afterwards. They polish up really well, too!!
Following numerous recommendations I got a pair of Ariat Bromonts, they cost £180.00. I've only worn them a few times but so far I'm really pleased with them, they fit like a glove, the leather is really soft and they are soooo comfortable.
I have a pair of Brogini 3000 long boots - the ones with the zip up the back. They cost me £250 (Sale price) but worth every penny as they are the best fitting boots I've ever worn - lovely and soft needed no wearing in at all.
