awwww thanks everybody we went for our first hack today and she was an absolute angel but oh god do i ache,i feel like bits of me might fall off! bring on the morphine I did feel sad though having to leave minty behindshe was horrified that i was going to ride "that other horse, wot was supposed to HER friend,NOT for me to ride"! she got all excited when she saw us get the tack out of the car then when i went to tack up sunne, she kept sticking her head round to look through the window in sunnes stable to glare at us.......BUT...hubby turned her out after we had left for our ride, and she was such a good girl! im astounded no pacing..no fretting...no whinneying...i thought she would go nuts,as she can be a sensitive soul at times so its fantastic news all round I will keep you posted on how we are doing,we need to get the saddle fitter to look at the saddle next week so when thats done i will be able to get on with lessons I cant wait....its definatly worth the pain Emma X |

Hi Emma,
Good choice she's a lovely mare, and like all of Anne's Browns horses a superb type of Arab, good luck this season and we look forward to hearing all about your progress together.

I'd like to say how very happy I am for Emma and Sunne . Sunne is a special mare , very fussy , she sent one prospective buyer off with a sharp nip ! When she met Emma it was a very different tale , they were exchanging kisses on their first date . The bond was instant .
I have the highest respect for Sunne because among all her many talents I have found her a very safe horse who looks after her rider . Anyone who thinks this is not paramount has not tasted hospital food!
I cannot say how happy I am for Sunne to have met such a lovely person as Emma and I know we'll hear lots of good things from you guys in the future .
Wishing you both the best of luck . Kit |

Minty, I haven't checked arabian lines for quite a while, so I was surprised that Sunne had been sold. Sunne happens to be the dam of my mare Rusleema (by Rusleem) 2004. Tomorrow I will be seeing her and hopefully I'll have some new pict to post, but for now I'll post an old one (3yrs) . |

Hi Guys, well at the moment life couldnt be better in fact i have been grinning so much my cheeks hurt! I took sunne out again today and we went over rodden ridge so had a lovely long canter (she is sooo lovely!)which we both really enjoyed, we are just hacking at the moment so we can get used to each other but we will start lessons as soon as the saddle fitter has been to check the saddle (next friday) hopefully by then i will be a bit more supple and riding a bit better After our ride i turned the girlies out for the afternoon and ........I let them in together for the first time.......which was completely uneventful im pleased to saythey looked like they had lived together all their lives! Minty was well chuffed to have her new friend in with her
and as you can see,she doesnt mind me using my stick at all,she even stops if im unsteady and loks at me as if to say "you ok to carry on"? she is such a sweetie Kit, thankyou so much, you have been so helpful, laughing at the kissing on the first date(we snog all the time now) as you can see she is settling really well, now i just hope i can improve enough to do her justice! Toothless,Thankyou i would love to see some more photos of rusleema,i have seen a few from when she was really little, she is fantastic
well sunne and minty are both having their teeth done on tuesdayso i hope they will forgive me! will keep you posted....ridden pics next Emma X |

What two beautiful girls you have, and i hope you and Sunne have many happy years ahead.
Atillio, Rusleema is stunning and i love the picture of her trotting, you can certianly see the influence of her beautiful dam aswell as that of her sire |

Minty. Do you have any plans to breed from sunne in the future? Fidodido, I put the pict of R trotting in (even though I don't particularly like it) just to show that she can move. The reason I bought her was because I liked both her parents and she looked lovely as a foal. All the best. Attilio |
