Of all the pictures I took last year (around 3000-4000) this is my absolute favourite. I don't want to embarras the person in the photo, I admit I don't know his name, but at the time I found this inspiring. The horse was clearly a special friend, and I feel this encapsulates the absolute pleasure we all aspire to get from our horses.
We were talking to the gentleman's wife during this round, and it was clear that they loved the horse, and enjoyed supporting the Arab shows.
I just felt it was important to share this with everybody. I hope you all enjoy your horses as much as they do, whatever you do with them this year.

How lovely - I love pics like that
With all the stresses, high and lows, pressures we have with our horses it can be easy to forget to enjoy them...
Here's one of our faves of a rare sunny day in N Wales just relaxing with the herd, paddling in the stream and mutual grooming
Show us your 'happy snaps' folks!

I love this picture of Marygold! It was taken whilst having a lunch break at a pub on a long hack on a hot May Day! |

This is my gelding Gaymar or Gillie as he's more usually known. This photo was just the second time I've ridden him this year after he's spent the previous 3 years as a field ornament. It was so cold that he had frosty whiskers when he came out of the arena. In March he will be 24 years old. He is a star
