Borrowed my oh log in so i can say a huge thank you to Alethea of Aristotle Arabians for the brilliiant job she has done backing and riding away my baby . Although not an arab (slightly but not enough to be registered part bred) Alethea took her on and has brought her on so well. Ive had my girl since a weanling and its so weird riding her cant believe how quickly the times flown by! I can highly recommend Alethea to anyone who wants their horse backed/schooled as she is brilliant to them and the horses just seem to relax at her yard, my mare can be so quirky but Alethea was patient with her and now shes come back home and seems so settled and almost a different horse (is there something you're not telling me?) Must say i also got to see Moloko (Earl) and was trying to work out how to fit him in my box when i picked my girl up, he is rather yummy! Thank you again and see you in the ring xx

Alethea has shown our mares in hand and we can't recommend her enough. She is so gentle and caring, and has a lovely nature, and the horses feed off that. She also has the award for the best tiled feed room I have seen (excluding Shadwell). I haven't seen her ride, but I have heard a few very good reports, just looking forward to seeing it. We have two very competent people we use, but if they could not do it or we relocated, we would trust ours to Alethea for backing. |

Just thought I'd jump on the bandwagon
I can highly recommend Alethea for a 'refresher' session too!!! I hadn't shown my boy in-hand for many years (over 10 in fact) and booked Alethea for a lesson! She gave us the confidence to go out and get placed in the top 3 in Veteran Classes everytime out!!
.... she is also incredibly helpful and willing to offer free advice on where to buy certain items etc!

We've achieved canter! Went to lesson with Pie yesterday and we achieved 'voluntary' canter for the first time under saddle. Yeah! No 's She was going 1,000,000 miles per hour and took 6 strides to go 60 meters! Big mover and smooth canter for this little girl! Will be fighting Jo for the ride now! (Especially keeping to my New Years Resolution!)
Still got grin from ear to ear!
Thankyou Alethea! You've done a great job!
