What some people may not know is that Trio has knocked on deaths door more than once (she even looked inside once) but Heather has gone to extraordinary lengths to bring her back from the brink.
What Heather doesn't know about Laminitis and Cushings isn't worth knowing!!!
Well done Heather and well done Trio - who by the way is still boss of the field |

Fantastic, a real credit to you. I'm sure she is boss of the field, what a great attitude she has! What is her breeding? |

Yes well done Louise - good guess Hi Offira, she is by a wonderful and very underused in his day Crabbet stallion called Shirar (Indian Magic x Sirella) and a Welsh D mare. A super cross that I would thoroughly recommend. Versatility, strengh, temprament, she has turned her hoof to pretty much everything over the last 20+ years. Vera is quite right about the times Trio has bounced back from the edge. Just this July I thought it was all over as she couldn't bear to put her near fore to the ground, never mind try and walk on it. Turns out she just needed to go bare foot and let her feet and laminae spread a little The scary thing is, that was my genius instructor's idea - my farrier (remedial specialist)was all out of ideas |

She's wonderful Heatherr, Hopefully you'll have many more years to come too. Just last week, a very dear friend of mine lost her 52+ year old welshy!!!!!!!! (She was a cushings sufferer too.) |
